The story behind the work ↓

Mohammed SheikhCoach · NLP Trainer · HeartMath Trainer

My working life began in technology and training. I taught adults computer skills, helped children learn to code, and worked in corporate sales before building my own business. Across those different settings, I kept returning to questions about learning, behaviour, and what helps people move forward.

Alongside Coach the Mind, I run itcloudshop and help manage my wife’s nutrition practice. That experience gives me a practical appreciation of competing demands, difficult decisions, and the responsibility of having others depend on you. It informs how I listen to the pressures you face and how we shape the work around your life.

My NLP journey began in 2005. I continued studying and practising, expanded into hypnosis, and founded Coach the Mind in 2013. HeartMath became part of my work in 2016.

Over time, my perspective has grown alongside my experience. Goals and results matter. So does how we pursue them, how we respond when life is difficult, and whether the changes we make fit the people we want to be.

How I see the work today

Change how you
meet life.

We can’t arrange life so that nothing difficult happens. We can work on the patterns that shape our experience and develop more choice in how we respond.

I’m equally interested in what you want to grow into. Life may already be good, and you may feel ready to develop more of your potential. That can mean leading with greater steadiness, finding the courage to contribute, or bringing your ambition into alignment with gratitude and a deeper sense of purpose.

Understand the person.

You bring your own history, responsibilities, hopes, and ways of making sense of things. I start by listening and understanding what you want help with. The work needs to fit you.

Make change practical.

Understanding a pattern can be useful. We also need ways to work with it. Sessions can include reflection, guided exercises, and practices you can take into everyday situations.

Look at how the pattern works.

We explore the connections between what you feel, how you respond, and the meaning you give an experience. That gives us places to begin trying something different.

Build your capacity.

I want the work to help you beyond our time together: to recognize what’s happening, use what you’ve learned, and respond with greater awareness and flexibility.

Why this matters to me

Personal change reaches
beyond the person.

The way we meet life affects the people we share it with. A calmer response, an honest conversation, a healthier boundary, or the willingness to listen can change what happens between us.

That is the purpose behind Coach the Mind: helping people develop the awareness and skills to live with greater clarity, emotional resilience, and care—for themselves and for others.

I care about the ordinary moments where that becomes real. How you respond to your child. How you handle a difficult conversation. How you move toward something meaningful, even when it feels uncertain.

What I bring

A range of tools.
A thoughtful approach.

My training spans NLP, hypnosis, and HeartMath. I draw on that background to guide the work, explain what we’re doing, and adapt as we learn what helps you.

Working together

You don’t need to fit a category.

I work with adults, teens, and children. Some come with fears, emotional reactions, or unwanted habits that are costing them. Others want to navigate conflict at work, pursue a promotion, or find the confidence to speak up and be seen. Some are ready to become more of the person and leader they know they can be.

You can expect focused attention, direct conversation, and respect for your own judgment. I approach our work with discretion and respect for your privacy. We’ll discuss what you want to change, whether my approach fits, and what working together could involve.

A note on privacy and confidentiality →

The work belongs in real life.

I’m also a husband and father. Relationships and everyday responsibilities are part of the life I’m learning to meet, too. Continuing to learn is part of how I practise what I teach.
